The piezo translator PM 10 has been especially constructed for penetrating cell membranes within the scope of electric-physiological applications.

The piezo injector is attached to the motorized X-axis of the micromanipulator DC 3K. The combination of a piezo-shifting element with a motorized micromanipulator combines the advantages of both systems in an ideal manner.

By using a piezo-shifting element high penetration speeds can be achieved even within shortest distances whereas the motorized micromanipulator enables procedures which are free of vibration over larger distances.
