The Digital Readout Unit SCDplus enables an exact determination of position in up to four measuring axes of manual microscope stages and measuring stages in combination with the Märzhäuser measuring systems.

 

The measuring data can be transmitted to a superior computer in a variety of database formats via USB or RS-232. In total, the SCDplus supports up to four high-resolution nanoScale linear scales. The measuring resolution is 0.1 µm at a system accuracy of +/-5 µm.

 

To achieve even higher accuracy, the SCDplus is able to carry out a correction of the measured data, referring to a pre-set correction table.

  • High accuracy and very robust against fouling
    The linear scale, which is coded with laser precision and which has been proven in use for many years, forms the basis for the precision of the complete system. nanoScale can be produced flexibly in different lengths and in various geometric shapes. The operating feature of the coordinate measuring system SCDplus is able to evaluate and display up to four high-resolution nanoScale measuring systems at the same time.

  • Ergonomic operation for quick and safe evaluation of coordinates
    The evaluation of coordinates is alternatively triggered by keyboard, pedal switch or via PC interface (USB or RS-232). A protective function efficiently prevents false operation or sabotage operation.

  • Data logging with database connection
    The evaluated data is transmitted immediately to a superior computer via interface.

  • Software connection made easy
    The operating device can be controlled completely by software commands (ASCII), enabling the coordinates measuring system SCDplus to be integrated quickly and easily into already existing programmes.

  • Higher precision by correction table
    By calibrating the positioning mechanism once, a position correction can be saved in the operating feature. With this, the system’s accuracy can be increased even more.

  • Operating surface included
    The getpos software, which is contained in the scope of supply and/or in the operating surface, provides a useful application and gives optimum assistance with the initial operation.
